And no, you don't have to be "advanced" to take it - it's designed so you can go straight into it after the Open Water Diver course. The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your instructor. This course builds on what you've learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.
One reason you'll love the Advanced Open Water Diver course is that you and your instructor choose from different types of Adventure Dives to complete your course. You can try your hand at Deep diving in a huge cayon, Navigation, Fish Identification in the 'World's Aquarium', Peak Performance Buoyancy and much more.
What you learn
The knowledge and skills you get in the Advanced Open Water Diver Course vary with your interest and the adventures you have, but include
- Practical aspects of deep diving
- Physiological effects of deeper scuba diving.
- More ways to use your underwater compass
- How to navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time

Notes
GENERAL RULES
- All divers interested in this activity must present there valid certification card in order to participate in our activities.
- All certified divers that have not dived in the last 12 months are requiered to take a diving lesson to refresh there memory.
- Certified divers automatically have the right to participate in a 2 tank dive in a maximum of 60 ft.
- Advanced divers can participate in a 2 tank dive in a maximum of 120 ft.
- A diving expert is normally supervised by 3 pares of divers.
- Recomendable to not dive with in 24 hours in your flight
- An Acknowledgement of Risk will need to be signed before participating in any of our learn to dive programs.
Restrictions
- Diving within 24 hours of your flight home is not recommended.
- An Acknowledgement of Risk will need to be signed before participating in any of our learn to dive programs.
Recommendations
- Not present any respiratory, cardiovascular or ear problems.
- Be in good mental and physical condition for diving.
- Avoid being under the influence of alcohol or drugs while diving.
- Be over 10 years old, not be pregnant and not fly within a period of 24 hours after a dive.
- Round transportation available with an extra cost $10 usd per person.
