When the sun goes down on Los Cabos the night heats up with a dizzying array of entertainment options that keep lounge lizards, party hoppers and dancing divas on their toes. Cabo San Lucas is the self-professed party capital of the Baja Peninsula, with enough action in the numerous night clubs and bars to earn it a reputation on the international party circuit and Spring Break crowd.
The Corridor tends towards more upscale offerings, while San Jose del Cabo specializes in subdued sophistication.
To fully experience the notorious nightlife of Los Cabos, party seekers will have to set foot inside the most infamous clubs in Cabo San Lucas, which include Cabo Wabo, El Squid Roe and the Giggling Marlin Bar & Grille, and Zoo Bar & Dance. The Cabo night club zone is a compact,10-block square radius area of downtown which features dozens of watering holes, cantinas, lounges and sports bars to suit a wide variety of tastes. On the marina, several other options offer visitors a glimpse of nightlife on the water, such as the Nowhere Bar. And right amid the action of Playa Medano, beach bars like The Office and Billygan’s offer guests the most authentic “toes in the sand” experience in Cabo.
For laidback evenings, head to tranquil San Jose del Cabo, where wine bars, cigar lounges and local lounges, such as Havana Supper Club or Tequila offer live music in intimate settings within a small-scale, walkable downtown core.
