An abundant number of internet cafes are scattered along the touristy area and many hotels and resorts even provide wireless connections along with other services such as long-distance calls, fax and scanner services.
A public phone can be found on every corner. You can use either pre-paid cards or your own credit card. Cellular phone rental is available at the airport.

Cellphones
There is local cellular service from Telcel and Movistar. Very few cellular services will allow you to roam in Mexico. Most cell phones will work, but they must be reprogrammed by these local service providers (Baja Celular or Telcel). We have local cellular service. Remember to have it reprogrammed again before returning to the U.S.
